We have have old fashion pleated drapery from the 70's that the restoration company just pull off the wall and threw on a couch in another room in a pile. The drapes are old and outdated but in very good condition, however I had no idea how to rehang the rods and drapes properly, and screws and hooks were missing. I did some searching without results, not many window treatment companies have workers who know how to hang older drapes. Then Lloyd himself, who installed many of that type of drapes years ago, returned my call and came to my rescue. He had all the outdated materials (hooks and such) needed to complete that task and did an excellent job. I plan on using Lloyds for window blinds in my home in the future because of the job Lloyd did for us.. .+1Posted on GoogleAmberlee Webber26 August 2026We asked in our local community page for shutters company recommendations. We had a few quotes based off them and by far, Lloyd's beat out all the others by cost, knowledge, friendliness, and quality. I was so impressed with all of that but then they told us 4 to 6 weeks and ended up installing 2 weeks exactly from our quote, not order placement. So thrilled all around. (of note, 10/10 do NOT recommend buying doors with the blinds inside the windows. They broke after only a few years, but that has nothing to do with Lloyds, the doors were purchased through Home Depot.. boooo!!) We needed an option that was low profile, energy efficient, safe for kiddos, and nice looking! I would say we have achieved that with our new shades by Norman from Lloyds Blinds. When I initially submitted a request through their website for a quote, someone reached out immediately the next morning. I was able to schedule an appointment a day after that. Brett came to our home and went over several different options with me, providing samples and giving a thorough explanation of the pros and cons of each option. We picked a style and color later that day and the order was placed. Brett had said it would be about 3 weeks, but to our surprise, they came in almost a week later! The shades were installed today, it hasn't even been 2 full weeks since my inquiry for a quote! To say we are pleased is an understatement. We would highly recommend this business and look forward to giving them more business in the future! Also, provided is a before and after. We had put up some cheap black out curtains that were duck taped on the back and attached to the door via a staple. To keep them open throughout the day, they were secured with a chip clip... needless to say, the chip clip is happily back with its half-gone bag of ruffles and our duck tape curtains are in the trash bin! :) Oh and, the broken blinds in the window... well we'll RIP those soon when we are able to replace the glass. The guy who installed the shades taught me how to take the shades up and down so we can easily replace the glass on our own OR even said they could come take the shades down and put them back up for us if we needed! I had six faux wood blinds replaced at a very affordable price. While I can’t recall the name of the gentleman who did the measurements, both Cody and Tyson were wonderful. We ordered the blinds remotely (as we moved from another state) through Brett who went to the property to take measurements and give us a few options with pictures and videos. The installer was there within a week to do the job, and he did it perfectly. He showed up on time, was professional and courteous, worked efficiently and diligently. Once he was done he cleaned up everything. The blinds looked great! We even had motorized ones in two of the bedrooms. I live in Oregon and will be ordering blinds from them next week.Posted on GoogleShelley Campbell14 March 2015not sure who " mr lattin " called but im pretty sure he dialed the wrong number... i had an awesome experience with lloyds draperies.. i was on a time crunch and needed my plantation shutters needed quickly.. they not only met the deadline but delivered them 2 days early. i dealt with lloyd himself as well as one of his workers.. he was courteous, and efficient as well as his staff. the plantation shutters were absolutley beautiful. i knew that my shutters would be expensive, but lloyds quote was very fair.. i love lloyds draperies and blinds and will go nowhere else for any of my future needs!!! p.s. both my sisters as well as my daughters have had nothing but wonderful results with lloyds draperies and blinds.Load more
